Antonio Fuoco said that the “Ferrari 499P didn’t need upgrades” when asked about the progress and the upcoming France classic endurance race 24 Hours of Le Mans.
The Italian driver of the AF Corse Ferrari runs with No. 50 and teammates Miguel Molina, Nicklas Nielsen.
On Thursday, at Ferrari Hospitality on Spa – Francorchamps circuit, Antonio was asked from F1fan.gr about his team’s progress and what happened with the upgrades from Ferrari.
“We put our car on track on July 2022 and after the first race we work on set up and everything.”
“We are moving race by race, session by session, where this is important for us. For Le Mans, we try to be ready for this race.”
John Klouris asked Fuoco what was the perfect practice for the preparation for the 24 Hours of Le Mans. He was asked about race weekend or endurance testing.
“We are testing from race weekends and we try to learn from simulator and I think that we did very good job at the moment.”
The Italian driver also described the preparation before the 6 Hours of Spa – Francorchamps.
“We try to maximise everything and then we will see tomorrow about the tyres, the set-up and after the Qualifying we will know exactly what happened.”
At the end, Fuoco from No. 50 and Pier Guidi from No. 51 had no comments about BoP and its changes.
